Inspiration
The blueprint process was characterized by white lines on a blue background, a negative of the original.
Introduced by Sir John Herschel in 1842, a blueprint is a reproduction of a technical drawing or engineering drawing using a contact print process on light-sensitive sheets.
I design geometric abstract shapes that echo the style of the blueprint.

Font and Color Palette
The font I chose for this project is Grotesk Mix, designed by Benoît Bodhuin. The strong geometric elements in the typeface are reminiscent of architecture. I base my colour selection on blue palette inspired by the blueprint.

Result
My design style is similar to Daniela’s in that I create unique spaces (layouts) that looks like no others.
The website is fully customized, designed, and built from the ground up without the use of a template, resulting in a one-of-a-kind design. Almost every component on this website is handcrafted. Some components (for example, the Before and After slider) make use of pre-existing code snippets created by coders.
